Marlin Enable Setting
1.Screen Contrast Setting
Follow processes:Arduino/ Libraries/ U8glib/ Utility to find out u8g_dev_uc1701_mini12864.c . You can install
notepad++ to check this document.The yellow frame below is screen contrast( the contrast will change as the
figure value increasesor reduces).
Default value is 0x027
The contrast value of LCD12864A is 0x032
2.Screen Enable
The same as mini 12864, the enable item(yellow highlighted)
Note: The firmware can match one type of screen only. It may cause display error if setting up several types of
screen.If the firmware is enabled and refreshed, but the screen display is blurred or not displayed. The reason
this may be caused is that there is no contrast setting or no saving. Simply set the contrast to 0x032, save it
and re-use arduino to update the firmware.
Modify screen contrast in Marlin 2.0
1.Enable the#define MKS_MINI_12864 in configuration.h
2.In the Conditionals_post.h file.Change the value of MKS_MINI_12864 CONTRAST LCD_CONTRAST_INIT to 220
(adjusted according to the actual display effect)
The modification is complete. Recompile the upload firmware

FAQ
It doesnt appear COM when motherboard connects to PC, and the led are not on, why?
The USB-PWR jumper cap on the motherboard is in the OFF state by default. Only when the board power with
12-24V, can the USB normally connect to the PC. If the USB needs 5V powering, you can set the USB-PWR jumper
cap to ON. (Its recommended to set off. If you set on, its easily burn the USB chip when USB and 12V
powering at the same time.
Can we upload the firmware via arduino or USB?
No. Robin lite3 uses 32 bit main chip and only Marlin2.0. The bin file can only be generated by compiling the
software and then updated via the sd card.
Robin Lite3 works with MKS TFT, TFT normally shows, but it cant control the motherboard(motors, temperatures),
why?
Generally, its due to the wrong communication. Check and make sure the baud rate between Robin lite3 and MKS
TFT is same and re-upgrade the firmware of them.Also, when you use MKS TFT, please dont connect the USB to the
Robin Lite3, otherwise, it will lead to abnormal communication.
Can MKS Robin Lite3 work with Robin series TFT?
No. MKS Robin Lite3 can work with LCD2004, LCD12864 and MKS TFT, but its not compatible with Robin series
displays.
